What is it, and how does it work?

SkinPen® Precision System is a prescription only, minimally invasive, micro-needling device and accessories intended to be used as a treatment to improve the appearance of wrinkles of the neck for Fitzpatrick skin types II – IV and to improve the appearance of facial acne scars in adults with all Fitzpatrick skin types aged 22 years and older. Microneedling creates a controlled micro injury to stimulate the body's wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result: Effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact. This treatment is great for acne scars, stretch-marks, age spots, textural issues and fine lines & wrinkles. We apply a topical lidocaine numbing cream the skin for an easy and painless treatment. A sunburn-like effect is expected post treatment.
